Description: What is Orange wine? As you likely already know it’s a white wine that ages with the skins of the grapes in the juice before bottling, often making the wine orange in color. This winemaker has vowed to make wine that is “Provocative, interesting, and true to the wine’s materials” and we believe that the L’aureate is the perfect example of this principle. When you smell this wine your senses are filled with white apricot, plum, hibiscus flower, and unripe mango. Orange wine is known to be a little tart and almost bitter in the finish and this wine has a pleasant amount of orange and grapefruit rind in the finish to keep you coming back for more.
