Libertine Wines 'The Void’ ... $60

As you raise the glass the mind envisions a rushing glacial creek freshly renewed from melting high altitude snowpack. The mouth is consumed by fleshy peach and crisp Bosc pear skin. All of this culminates in a pleasantly sharp finish.

Chateau La Caussade Sauvignon ... $48

I love this wine and it's definitely a great versatile white for people who don’t want their natural wine to taste too crazy. Put on your pearls and your most expensive kaftan and tap in to your 65 year old rich b***h with this elegant white Bordeaux. With notes of limestone, citrus fruits, wet meadow, uncooked dandelion greens, and a hint of pear with a bright high acid finish, you’ll be able to drink this wine all day every day!

Domaine Rolet Arbois ... $50

Do you love sherry? I sure do! This wine is slightly oxidative in a way I’m obsessed with - the wine almost resembles skin contact wine except less bitter and more salty. It’s dark in color and is a wine for a wine nerd that wants to take their palate to the edge. This Chardonnay tastes, well, nothing like regular Chardonnay. It has flavors of olive brine, salty cheese, chestnut, ripe bosch pear, lemon creme and highly mineral finish.

Pardas Pell a Pell ... $46

Our wine tour this month ends in Spain with this yummy wine treat! This skin contact white is very delicate for an orange - so much so that you could say it’s a white wine with LOTS of character. It has notes of salty pretzel, caramel apple, lemon rind on wet granite, lime wedge in a tequila shot and a delicate finish. This is an easy peasy natural wine that will please your spring time party crowd!

Unico Zelo ‘Alluvium’ ... $58

The grape vines for this wine grow in Alluvial soil which is fine-grained fertile soil deposited by water flowing over floodplains or in riverbed sand. That river and stone land really comes through in the flavors of this wine! It has a strong warm mineral water aroma that blows off fast and gives in to notes of shellfish farms, white flowers, limestone cliffs, quince, a little sea salt in the finish. I'm obsessed with this wine!

Statera Cellars Remix Vol.I ... $48

I love a good remix and this white wine has a bit of skin contact and it's natty/funky-ness has a special way of making you want to shake that booty! It is a great cocktail party wine as it tastes sort of like a refreshing cocktail itself with notes of coconut, lemon curd, cucumber, and barley. This bottle somehow embodies decadence and spa health weekend at once.

Azimut Orange Wine brisat ... $50

It’s orange all right! We had a previous vintage of this wine many wine clubs ago (a period of measurement I’ve created). This orange wine is lighter in color than its predecessor but packs just as much of a punch. With notes of white flowers, rubber cement, hot dog bun, and a tart lemon juice finish. It’ll fill your nose up with flavors while having enough acid on the palate to keep you begging for more!

Le Mazel Cuvée Les Leches Orange ... $52

This orange wine is like me after a break up - it’s wild, it’s raw, and ready to rock your world. If you want an orange wine that’s going to pack a punch, we’ve got you covered! It has LOTS of smells and textures that will vary bottle to bottle, but I specifically experienced notes of smoky peaches, herby fennel, mushrooms, aniseed and zesty citrus with a gripping skin contact finish. Buckle your seatbelts folks!

La Dive Orange... $34

A nose of gasoline, Florida oranges, being in Miami Beach with sunscreen in a thong, and subtle white flower notes. Has a palate of unsweetened dark chocolate with sea salt and burnt orange rind.

EST. Pinot Sans Noir ... $45

This beautiful rosé of Pinot Noir will have you toasting to it all! This pretty rosé is has aromatic notes and flavors of watermelon rind, cucumber skin, unripe raspberries, wet pavement from a spring rain and a lovely dry finish.

jp. bourgeois Freak of Nature Rosé ... $46

The ‘freak of nature’ also prides itself on its unfiltered-ness (new word) and says “shake” all over the bottle. Chill it, shake it like a polaroid picture (thank you Outkast), and enjoy the notes of strawberry yogurt, beach blanket, grapefruit and a fruity and playful finish making this the perfect rosé to replace a meal with in a pinch!

Cyril & Jean Mi ... $48

This fantastic red wine is as classic and elegant as Audry Hepburn while being as full bodied as I am after the holidays! You’ll enjoy how food friendly and winter appropriate this masterpiece smells of wet bark, blueberries, wet cement, jungle mud, and cranberry, a grippy finish. A great wine for those that like a natural wine that is reflective of the terroir without being too “weird’ or adventurous.

Madison Pinot Noir... $48

This pinot is a rare treat that is sold out pretty much everywhere online so you can brag that you have something others can’t get! What’s the point of enjoying luxury if you can’t brag about it? Speaking of things to be proud of, this winery not only grows biodynamically but is also solar powered! However, there’s always carbon emitted if you distribute a wine across the country. To offset this, the team at Madson wines plants trees (744 during this vintage, for example) to remain carbon neutral as a winery. Most importantly, the wine is tasty! It has classic Pinot Noir flavors of plum, smoked hickory wood, spicy clove, and a dry earthy finish.

R.A.S Mas de Caprices ... $46

These winemakers were former chefs in a renowned restaurant in the Alsace region of France before deciding to leave and start making wine in Luecate, a fertile peninsula in the French Riviera. I almost moved to the French Riviera to make wine except no one asked me to and I don’t speak French and I don’t really know how to make wine, but otherwise this was the perfect plan! Either way, I’m glad these two chef-winemakers made the decisions they did because now we have this tasty wine with notes of wild berry, bitterroot, fresh nectarine and plentiful earthy-dusty-forest notes for a savory tone in the nose and very much in the finish.

LES Lunes Wines Cabernet Sauvignon ... $48

I love seeing "traditional" or mainstream grape varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon with a more natty and low intervention expression. Sure, you can put lipstick on a pig but isn’t it more delicious if it’s naked? This wine is as naked as a newborn baby so we can really see the characteristics of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape varietal without all the sugar, oak chips, and industrial chemicals in very mainstream, mass produced Cabernet. It is very savory with notes of barnyard, blueberry, blackberry, wet tire in a hay field, and cold medicine vitamin packet with a rich but somehow breezy, fresh natural wine finish! You can CAB your way with it (see what I did there)!

Unico Zelo “Fresh AF” (chilled wine) ... $45

You don’t see the Unico Zelo wines often in general but when you do it’s in really hip locations (like La Dive!) and it’s usually the ‘Fresh AF’ (this wine) you see the most. It has notes of raspberry jam, oregano, pool floaty, rosemary, and a slight smell of a steak right before you put it on the grill. Yummy!

Château de la Selve ‘Petit Selve’ ... $48

Fun classic style french red with notes of blueberries, raspberries, sweet red peppers, and cracked pink peppercorn, spicy finish. Easy and great with food!

Louis Maurer 'Pinot Noir' ... $58

Very pinot noir with notes of dusty dirty road, plum bark, hint of smoky beef jerky and bubble gum mixed with new denim. Also, it has a very zippy light bodied cranberry finish that would give your teeth 'sweaters' if you know what I mean!

Martin Textier Grenache... $54

Martin Textier has two passions, natural wine and music! His DJ name is “DJ Sans Soufre” (it means “no sulfur” in French) and he was a New York club DJ before moving into his family business. You see, his father was a famed natural winemaker and he moved back to his family's vineyards in the Rhone Valley. At the beginning of this story I maybe I had dated this guy until we got the winemaker part. Anyway, this red is fun and playful with notes of strawberry gushers, baked potato skins, mushroom broth, and black cherry soda.
